This is a rare example when internal humor culture of the Chernobyl Zone goes out of it, and the story behind this is pretty funny. Back in 2016, we have been working with some TV crew on a serious news episode at the town of Chornobyl, and their director jokingly said that the landscape is perfect for a generic horror movie. We made a bet. So, during a break, we made this to prove the theory. Do not take it too seriously 😃 Besides, it is the former residential area of Chornobyl between the St. Elias church and the former river port. Being built exclusively with old small private houses, it used to be a busy place, which now is rarely visited by anyone except the staff of the area. In 2016, a few resettlers used to live there, but now in 2023 it is almost abandoned, and the remains of buildings are in way poorer condition, so these shots already are historical.
