Since then, the program has yet to be revived. Mitsubishi Aircraft, the subsidiary developing the plane, has cut staff and is now insolvent. It currently operates with a skeleton crew. It is a tough break for Japan's first indigenous commercial aircraft in nearly half a century. In this video we look back at what happened to the Mitsubishi Regional Jet.
